What is Scratch Therapy?
The massage incorporates Swedish techniques along with gentle scratching and tracing movements with the tip of the nails. Your practitioner will wear a set of nails that are one-use/disposable that attach onto sterile rings just for your treatment.
Not only do you get the benefits of massage - increased circulation, decreased sympathetic nervous system firing, reduce pain and inflammation - gentle scratching & tracing techniques release pain relieving chemicals in the brain such as serotonin, which is related to memory & pleasure. It also soothes and creates a feeling of happiness.

Cupping
Cupping relaxes tight muscles, reduces pain and adhesions, increases circulation and is used to rid stagnant blood and lymph fluid. Range of motion and stretch is incorporated into this service for OPTIMAL results!
Cupping at True North can be booked as a service on its own or integrated with massage.
Some clients experience immediate relief after their first service, although it is suggested to have 3-6 sessions.
Note this service can leave marks on your body for approximately 1 week that can vary in colour.

Sugaring
Hey there, SUGAR!
Sugaring is a form of hair removal. The sugar paste made of only 3 natural ingredients, sugar, lemon & water,
removes the hair at the root!
What to expect at your appointment? You will be asked to undress; you will be given a towel or robe for your modesty. If you are getting a Brazilian, we will provide a cleansing wipe for you to cleanse the area. Our team of professionals will instruct you different poses. Powder will be applied to keep the area dry. Sugar will be applied against the direction of hair growth, with 1-3 fingers and removed using a flicking technique with the hair growth. This ensures very little hair breakage and less opportunity. for ingrown hairs.
